Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025: A Spectacular Celebration of Unity and Innovation

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, themed “Da Nang – The New Rising Era,” is set to be the most expansive and exhilarating edition in the festival’s history. Spanning six vibrant Saturday nights from May 31 to July 12, 2025, this event commemorates the 50th anniversary of Da Nang’s liberation, symbolizing the city’s aspirations for global recognition and sustainable development .

Festival Schedule and Themes

Each night of DIFF 2025 will feature unique themes, showcasing the creativity and cultural narratives of the participating teams:

• May 31: Legacy of Culture – Vietnam 1 vs. Finland
• June 7: The Art of Creativity – Vietnam 2 vs. Poland
• June 14: The Path of Unity – Canada vs. China
• June 21: Sustainable Development – Portugal vs. United Kingdom
• June 28: Powered by Innovation – South Korea vs. Italy
• July 12: The New Rising Era – Grand Finale featuring the top teams
  

Each team will deliver a 20-minute fireworks display, choreographed to music, reflecting the night’s theme.

Participating Teams

DIFF 2025 will host ten world-class teams from nine countries:

• Vietnam: Two teams, including the long-standing Da Nang team and newcomer Z121 Vina Pyrotech
• Finland, Poland, Canada, China, Portugal, United Kingdom, South Korea, Italy

Notably, this year marks the debut of teams from South Korea and Portugal, adding fresh perspectives to the competition.

Venue and Viewing Experience

The festival will take place along the Han River, with fireworks launched from the East Bank and main spectator stands on the West Bank, particularly along Tran Hung Dao Street. This setup offers panoramic views of the performances, enhanced by the river’s reflections.

DIFF 2025 is more than a fireworks competition; it’s a cultural extravaganza. The festival will feature a variety of side events, including street carnivals, art exhibitions, and culinary fairs, offering visitors a comprehensive cultural experience.
